The Edward is a classic service boot. It has larger quarters and slightly differentdetails than the Diesel, such as smaller hardware and an extra eyelet, creating a dressier feel.
Black leathers are often considered more uniform, showing less character due to the lack of color depth. Black Waxed Commander is one of the exceptions. Out of the box, the leather has a matted appearance from the waxed suede texture. Once the leather is flexed and accumulates wear, a two-tone effect develops, intensifying the highs and lows.
The Waxed Commander article, tanned byCharles F. Stead Tannery, requires minimal maintenance and can be worn all seasons, making it an ideal boot leather.
